Create a clean and simple card featuring the hot air balloon from the Love Is in the Air 3D embossing folder on navy pearl cardstock. The embossed balloon creates perspective and dimension, perfect for adding a sentiment or leaving as a standalone design.

Step by step

1. Select a piece of navy pearl cardstock. ▶ watch 31:00
2. Place the cardstock into the Love Is in the Air 3D embossing folder. ▶ watch 31:15
3. Run the cardstock through your die-cutting machine to emboss the hot air balloon design. ▶ watch 31:30
4. Remove the embossed card and observe the dimensional balloon detail. ▶ watch 31:45
5. Optionally add a white halo around the balloon using an aperture technique if desired. ▶ watch 32:00
6. Mount the embossed card onto a card base or use it as a standalone design element. ▶ watch 32:30

Tips from the show

• The hot air balloon is super easy to fussy cut, allowing you to use it in background, foreground and create perspective in the sky.
• You can create multiple balloons at different sizes and layer them to build depth and interest.
