How to Craft Network respects your privacy and does not sell, rent or loan any identifiable information collected on this site. Any information that you give will be treated in a careful and secure manner. It will not be used in ways to which you have not consented.
This statement explains how we may collect and use information about you through our website. If you have any questions about our privacy policies, want to exercise your right to see a copy of the information that we hold about you, or think that information we hold about you may need to be corrected, please send an email to our data protection officer at info@howtocraftnetwork.com.
We do not seek to identify individual visitors unless they volunteer their contact details through one of the forms on the site. Various forms on our site invite you to submit your contact details and other information about yourself or your organisation, or to send us emails which may, of course, also identify you. In each case, the purpose for which you are invited to give us information is clear and we also indicate which of the requested information is essential for the relevant purpose and which is optional - fields for essential information are marked with an asterisk. We will only use your details to send you information from How to Craft Network that you have specifically requested to receive. Or from time to time any promotional offers. If you no longer wish to receive such information, our emails contain a link that will allow you to change or terminate your subscription to our email alerting service. Alternatively, you can let us know your preferences by sending an email to info@howtocraftnetwork.com. We will not use your information for purposes that are not clear when you provide your details, and will not disclose it outside How to Craft Network, except in very limited circumstances and only with your agreement or where we are legally obliged to do so.
How to Craft Network strives to protect the security of information that you provide us, and will comply at all time with its statutory and any other obligations in this regard.
We use the YouTube API Services only for our own YouTube channel (How To Craft Network), and only from our private admin area, by our own staff. With them we:
We do not use the YouTube API Services to access, collect or store any information about our website visitors, customers or anyone else's YouTube account.
During our live shows we may also show messages from the YouTube live chat of our own stream on our My Telly player (on our website, apps and TV apps): the name, picture and message exactly as they appear in the YouTube chat. They are shown only while the show is live, kept only for that time so they can be displayed, and never added to our records. Messages with links or offensive words are left out, and we can hide any message.
While our own show is live we also note, about once a minute, the total number of people YouTube says are watching our stream and the view count of our own video, so we can see how each show did. These are totals only: they contain nothing about any viewer or their YouTube account.
By watching our videos on YouTube you are also bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's use of information is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
From YouTube our admin area keeps only: the sign-in permission for our own channel, stored securely on our server; the time each of our own videos starts, so that our guides and product links open the video at the right moment; and copies of our own videos' captions while their guides are written, which are deleted after 30 days. None of this is about our visitors or customers. The permission can be withdrawn at any time from the Google security settings page, and we delete it straight away if we stop using the service.
