A project from our live show CREATE AND CRAFT TV - Join Toni for her brand new SBM launch show 2 - broadcast 8th Jan 2024 · 01/08/2024 · watch it from 42:15

Create an elegant card featuring beautiful embossed tulips with a coordinated vellum overlay. This project uses the Pretty Florals embossing folder to create texture on both the card base and vellum, demonstrating how the same design can be used on different materials for a sophisticated layered effect. The finished card combines soft purple tones with delicate embossed details for a refined, dimensional look.
Take a 5 by 7 inch grey card blank and place it inside the Tulip embossing folder.

Run your purple card blank through the embossing machine with the tulip embossing folder to create a raised design on the card. This will emboss and deboss the design on both sides of the card.

Run the embossed card through your die-cutting machine to ensure a flat finish. This will help remove any curling from the embossing process and create a smooth base for your card.

Take a sheet of patterned vellum and place it inside the same Tulip embossing folder, ensuring the vellum covers the embossing design.
