Coordinating Envelope Using Box Maker Tool

Create a perfectly sized 5×7 inch envelope using the box maker tool to coordinate with your cards and gifts. The tool's built-in guides and punch system create professional, rounded corners with minimal effort.

Step by step

  1. Cut a piece of card stock to 9½ by 9½ inches for a 5×7 envelope. ▶ watch 20:15
  2. Insert the paper into the tool, lining it up with score line 4. ▶ watch 20:30
  3. Score down and across the paper following the tool's groove. ▶ watch 20:45
  4. Punch the first score line. ▶ watch 21:00
  5. Twist the tool and line the paper back up with the first score line. ▶ watch 21:15
  6. Score across and punch. ▶ watch 21:30
  7. Repeat the twist, line-up, score and punch sequence for the remaining score lines. ▶ watch 21:45
  8. Fold the envelope into shape. ▶ watch 22:00
  9. Tuck in the small tail at the top for a neater finish. ▶ watch 22:15
  10. Use the corner punch feature on the tool to create rounded corners at the envelope's top. ▶ watch 22:30
