Interactive 3D Gnome Topper Card with Layered Tree

Make an interactive card featuring a gnome character with moveable pigtails and a 3D layered tree. The die set creates cut-out sections that allow the pigtails and tree fringe to lift up, adding playful dimension to your card.

Step by step

1. Stamp the gnome lady character onto watercolour card using black ink. ▶ watch 16:45
2. Colour the stamped gnome with pencils or watercolours as desired. ▶ watch 17:15
3. Position the coordinating die over the stamped image, aligning it carefully. ▶ watch 18:00
4. Die cut the image, which will cut out the pigtails and tree fringe sections. ▶ watch 18:15
5. Gently lift and curl the cut-out pigtails and tree sections to create 3D effect. ▶ watch 19:00
6. Mount the finished topper onto a card base using adhesive. ▶ watch 19:30
7. Add a sentiment or message to complete the card. ▶ watch 20:00

Tips from the show

• The interactive nature of the die set allows the pigtails and tree layers to be lifted for a playful 3D effect.
