Shaker Card with Circular Window Inside Greeting Card

Combine a shaker card inside a folded greeting card to create a surprise element. The shaker sits inside the card so the recipient must open it to discover the floating embellishments and hidden money.

Step by step

1. Cut a piece of patterned paper from the paper pad. ▶ watch 30:45
2. Glue the patterned paper to the base of a white card blank. ▶ watch 31:00
3. Add an offcut of patterned paper to the top of the card to create a cohesive design. ▶ watch 31:15
4. Stamp a sentiment onto the front of the card using the stamp set. ▶ watch 31:30
5. Glue the completed circular shaker card inside the greeting card. ▶ watch 32:00

Tips from the show

• Using an offcut of patterned paper at the top and bottom of the card creates a purposeful, finished look rather than leaving a dead end.
