Rectangular Shaker Card with Glitter and Sequins

Make a borderless infinity shaker card using the pre-scored, pre-taped acetate windows. Fill it with glitter, sequins and embellishments to create a floating shaker effect with no visible foam or frame needed.

You will need

Step by step

1. Burnish the score lines on the pre-scored shaker card window. ▶ watch 15:30
2. Score the card back in the opposite direction to allow movement of the shaker elements. ▶ watch 16:00
3. Remove the protective film from the acetate window. ▶ watch 16:15
4. Place a piece of patterned paper inside the shaker card. ▶ watch 16:30
5. Pour glitter, sequins, gems and other embellishments through the open top of the shaker. ▶ watch 17:00
6. Fold the card flat and remove the backing tape. ▶ watch 17:45
7. Fold the card into its final shaker shape. ▶ watch 18:30

Tips from the show

• The pre-scored and pre-taped design means you don't need to add foam padding, eliminating the risk of glitter spilling out.
• You can fill shaker cards with seeds, buttons, beads, sequins or even a five pound note.
• The acetate is thick and high-end, creating a beautiful dome effect without cloudiness on the score lines.
