Trim your chosen decorative paper to 6 3/4" square, ideally with a printed design down the left side. Tear a sheet of the decorative vellum 6 3/4" in length and as wide as you wish, allowing a 2cm overlap down the right side, scoring this with a ball tool. This will be used to adhere your vellum to the paper in a later stage. |

Place the vellum inside the Elegant Rose embossing folder and run it through your machine. |
![]() |
Fold the scored edge over the right edge of the paper and secure on the reverse with tape/glue. |
![]() |
Blend around the edges with Heather. |
![]() |
Apply random pieces of washi tape around the edges of your journal page (or card blank). |
![]() |
Adhere your artwork onto your page. |
![]() |
Add more random bits of washi tape where desired. |

Using the dies as a guide, cut ONE drop from the Sepia washi roll. Lift up the backing sheet along one end of the tape and adhere across the top of an A4 sheet of white card. Slowly peel away the backing, as you use your hand to smooth the washi tape down on to the card. Once the backing has been fully removed, you can burnish the washi to ensure there are no air bubbles or creases. |

Line up the second die, secure in place and run through your machine. |

Once all elements are die cut, pop out the sentiments, pick out the one you are using for this project and keep the rest in a tub for future projects. |

To finish, add your chosen sentiment tab in the lower right area of the journal page/card. |
