Floral Watercolour Card with Layered Leaves

A beautiful card featuring stamped flowers and foliage from the floral stamp set, painted with confetti inks in vibrant colours like Tangerine and Bluebell. The layered leaves and dimensional elements create a fresh, artistic design perfect for celebrations.

Step by step

1. Stamp the flowers and foliage from the floral stamp set onto cardstock using black ink. ▶ watch 51:15
2. Punch or cut circles from the stamped sheet to create individual flower elements. ▶ watch 51:45
3. Prepare your confetti inks by adding water to activate them. ▶ watch 52:15
4. Paint the stamped flowers with confetti ink in Tangerine, adding colour and sparkle. ▶ watch 52:45
5. Paint additional leaves and details with Bluebell confetti ink for contrast. ▶ watch 53:15
6. Use your tools to give the leaves a gentle pinch and shape for dimension. ▶ watch 53:45
7. Layer the painted flowers and leaves onto your card base using foam pads for dimension. ▶ watch 54:15
8. Add sentiments and additional details as desired to complete the design. ▶ watch 54:45
9. Allow all paint and adhesive to dry completely before finishing. ▶ watch 55:15

Tips from the show

• You can build up colour by layering confetti inks on top of each other.
• Paint leaves with confetti ink and use your tools to give them a pinch and shape for added dimension.
