Embossed Love Card with Vellum Circles

A clean and elegant card featuring white cardstock embossed with the 'Love' repeating pattern from the 6x6 embossing folder, layered with punched vellum circles and a fussy-cut lady. The embossed texture creates beautiful depth and dimension.

Step by step

1. Take a piece of white cardstock and insert it into the 6x6 embossing folder with the 'Love' repeating pattern. ▶ watch 41:15
2. Run the cardstock through your die-cutting machine to emboss the pattern. ▶ watch 41:30
3. Remove the embossed cardstock and admire the 3D detail created by the embossing folder. ▶ watch 41:45
4. Punch random circles from the vellum to create layered elements. ▶ watch 42:00
5. Fussy cut a lady figure from the patterned paper collection. ▶ watch 42:30
6. Stamp the 'Elegant and Stylish' sentiment from the stamp set onto the card. ▶ watch 43:00
7. Layer the embossed cardstock as your base, positioning it to showcase the texture. ▶ watch 43:30
8. Attach the punched vellum circles around the design for added elegance and transparency. ▶ watch 44:00
9. Position the fussy-cut lady on the edge next to the sentiment for balance. ▶ watch 44:30
10. Secure all layers and allow adhesive to set. ▶ watch 45:00

Tips from the show

• The vellum really enhances your design because you can see through it, adding depth.
• You can use a segment of the 6x6 embossing folder rather than the full square if desired.
