Simple Decoupage Card with Fussy-Cut Topper and Stamped Sentiment

A quick card using a pre-made topper from the collection, fussy-cut to add dimension with layered elements and a stamped white sentiment. This creates a professional-looking decoupage card with minimal effort.

Step by step

1. Cut a small black side-folding card blank as your base. ▶ watch 18:15
2. Select one of the pre-made toppers from your collection. ▶ watch 18:30
3. Take a second topper and fussy-cut away some of the outer elements to create layered pieces. ▶ watch 18:45
4. Apply foam pads to the back of the fussy-cut elements. ▶ watch 19:00
5. Adhere the padded elements to the first topper to create dimension. ▶ watch 19:15
6. Stamp a sentiment in white ink onto a separate piece and layer it with foam pads. ▶ watch 19:30
7. Attach the sentiment to the card front. ▶ watch 19:45
8. Glue the complete topper arrangement to your card base. ▶ watch 21:00

Tips from the show

• You get plenty of toppers, so don't worry about cutting into them.
• You can stamp sentiments in white ink or use die-cut sentiments for variety.
