Create an elegant embossed card with a delicate floral design enhanced with gold metallic highlights. The raised embossed areas are lightly touched with shimmering gold ink, creating a subtle sparkly effect that catches the light beautifully. This technique uses your embossing folder as a mono printing plate to transfer metallic ink onto the raised design.

Step by step

1. 

   Start with your embossed cardstock that has a clear raised design. Ensure the embossed pattern is visible and ready for the metallic highlighting technique.

   Lightly tap the clear stamp onto a gold metallic ink pad to pick up a minimal amount of ink. This will create a subtle sparkly metallic finish on the embossed design.

   Gently dab the metallic ink pad onto the raised areas of the embossed design, picking up only the highlights. Use a light touch to apply the sparkly metallic finish to the embossed surface.

   Step back and admire your finished embossed design with its subtle gold metallic shimmer highlighting the raised details.
