An elegant monochrome card featuring a sophisticated male and female couple stamp with a handbag element. The design demonstrates how to use a single large stamp set with sentiments to create a versatile card suitable for multiple occasions.

You will need

Step by step

1. Stamp the Stay Classy couple (male and female figures) onto white card stock using black ink. ▶ watch 8:45
2. Stamp the handbag element separately or as part of the design, positioning it to complement the figures. ▶ watch 9:00
3. Add one of the sentiments (Treat Yourself, Stay Classy, Sometimes Less is More, or Better Together) to the card. ▶ watch 9:15
4. Create a watercolour or gradient background behind the stamped figures to add depth. ▶ watch 9:30
5. Paper piece the handbag if desired by stamping it onto decorative paper and layering it over the main design. ▶ watch 9:45
6. Mount the finished design onto a card base, optionally adding a decorative frame or border. ▶ watch 10:15

Tips from the show

• The handbag element can be stamped within itself or left as a simple outline, giving you flexibility in how detailed you want the design to be.
