A vibrant card featuring a pre-coloured girl stamp layered over a hand-painted watercolour background with scenic elements. The design combines bold colour washes with detailed stamping to create an inviting, holiday-inspired scene.

Step by step

1. Stamp the My Sunshine girl stamp onto white card using black ink and the Eureka platform for crisp, even pressure. ▶ watch 15:00
2. Pre-cut and colour the girl using alcohol markers to pull the design together. ▶ watch 15:30
3. Take a piece of watercolour card and apply concentrated watercolour pigment, then dab and squish it to create a grungy, textured base. ▶ watch 17:45
4. Hold the Scenery Escape stamp over the watercolour base and ink it with orange at the top, pink in the middle, and yellow at the bottom. ▶ watch 18:15
5. Add a little water to the inked stamp and drag the colour along to blend the hues together seamlessly. ▶ watch 18:30
6. Dry off the background quickly with a heat tool. ▶ watch 19:00
7. Stamp a sentiment onto decorative backing paper using black ink. ▶ watch 19:30
8. Assemble the card by layering the watercolour background, decorative backing paper with sentiment, and the pre-coloured girl on top. ▶ watch 20:00

Tips from the show

• Use concentrated watercolour on a damp brush for quick, effective background washes.
• Blending colours directly on the stamp before stamping creates smooth, natural colour transitions.
