Quattro D Paris Tower Layered Card

A stunning multi-layered card featuring the Paris tower from the Quattro D stamp set, built using the four-stage system of stencils, stamps, and embossing. The design combines coloured stencil work, black stamping, embossing, and layering on sparkly black cardstock.

Step by step

  1. Gather all six numbered stencils from the Quattro D set and arrange them in order. ▶ watch 18:30
  2. Position stencil number one on your card base, aligning it with the edge using the heart guides in the corners. ▶ watch 19:00
  3. Ink through stencil one with yellow ink, applying light colour. ▶ watch 20:00
  4. Position stencil two and ink through with a darker shade of yellow. ▶ watch 20:15
  5. Apply stencil three and add yellow and orange ink to create colour variation. ▶ watch 20:45
  6. Position stencil four and add teal or green ink for foliage. ▶ watch 21:15
  7. Apply stencil five with darker teal ink to add depth. ▶ watch 21:45
  8. Position stencil six and apply purple ink very lightly for decorative splats. ▶ watch 22:15
  9. Stamp the Paris tower design in black ink using the coordinating stamp from the set. ▶ watch 23:00
  10. Place the stamped piece into your die-cutting machine with the embossing folder to add texture to the tower. ▶ watch 24:15
  11. Mat the embossed piece onto black sparkle cardstock for contrast. ▶ watch 28:00
  12. Adhere the layered design to your card base and add a sentiment as desired. ▶ watch 31:30
