Layered Stencil Watercolour Flower Card

Use a numbered layering stencil system to build up a multi-layered watercolour flower effect. Each stencil layer is precisely aligned using heart registration marks, allowing you to create professional-looking floral designs with minimal effort.

Step by step

  1. Prepare your card stock and identify the first stencil in the numbered layering system. ▶ watch 1:14:45
  2. Align the first stencil (number 1) on your card, using the heart registration marks as guides. ▶ watch 1:15:00
  3. Apply pink ink through the stencil using a brush, creating the first layer of the flower. ▶ watch 1:15:15
  4. Remove stencil number 1 and align stencil number 2 using the same heart registration marks. ▶ watch 1:15:45
  5. Apply a second colour (yellow or contrasting shade) through stencil number 2 to build the next layer. ▶ watch 1:16:00
  6. Continue with stencils 3, 4, and 5, applying different colours and building up the layered flower design. ▶ watch 1:16:30
  7. Allow the inks to blend naturally where colours overlap, creating a watercolour effect. ▶ watch 1:17:00
  8. Once all layers are complete, add any final details or sentiments to complete your card. ▶ watch 1:17:15
