Heat Embossed Wolf Card with White Powder

Create a glossy, raised wolf design using heat embossing with white embossing powder. The heat tool melts the powder onto the card, creating a striking 3D effect that showcases the intricate detail of the wolf stamp.

Step by step

1. Use a sticky ink pad to stamp the wolf design onto your card stock, pressing firmly to ensure good coverage. ▶ watch 42:00
2. Immediately sprinkle white embossing powder over the wet ink, covering the entire stamped image. ▶ watch 42:30
3. Use an anti-static bag to brush away excess powder, leaving only the powder on the stamped design. ▶ watch 42:45
4. Turn on your heat tool and allow it to warm up for a few seconds. ▶ watch 43:15
5. Hold the heat tool a short distance above the card and move it gently over the embossed design until the powder melts and fuses to the card. ▶ watch 44:00
6. Allow the card to cool completely before handling to set the embossed design. ▶ watch 45:00
7. Optionally, place the mask stencil over the embossed wolf and add a white ink halo around it for additional dimension. ▶ watch 47:30

Tips from the show

• Work quickly after stamping with sticky ink, as it dries fast.
• Use an anti-static bag to prevent embossing powder from scattering everywhere.
• The heat tool should be held at a safe distance to avoid burning the card.
