Waterfall Gift Card Stack

Make a multi-layered waterfall card that holds several gift cards or treats in one design. Each layer cascades down when opened, revealing different gifts or messages—perfect for anniversaries, 12 days of Christmas, or milestone celebrations.

Step by step

1. Cut several gift card wallets using the same die and patterned paper. ▶ watch 19:30
2. Glue the base of the first wallet to create the foundation layer. ▶ watch 20:00
3. Glue the base of the second wallet on top of the first, slightly offset to create a cascading effect. ▶ watch 20:15
4. Continue adding more wallets, gluing each one on top of the previous layer. ▶ watch 20:30
5. Insert different gift cards, vouchers, or treats into each pocket (e.g. cinema tickets, restaurant vouchers, money). ▶ watch 21:00
6. When placing the waterfall into a card, fold back the top layer and tuck the bottom layer underneath to create the cascading reveal effect. ▶ watch 21:30

Tips from the show

• You can make as many layers as you wish—try 12 for the 12 days of Christmas or one for each year of an anniversary.
• Use different patterned papers from the collection for each layer to add visual interest.
• This works beautifully as a memory album page or as a standalone gift card holder.
