Step by step

  1. Line up stencil number one for the handbag at the top left of your card stock, aligning with the edge or using the heart guides. ▶ watch 29:45
  2. Apply ink through the first stencil using a light wash of your chosen colour. ▶ watch 30:15
  3. Position stencil two for the handbag, aligning it with the edge of the card, and apply ink in the same colour, pressing slightly harder. ▶ watch 31:30
  4. Place stencil three for the handbag and apply ink, pressing firmly to create darker definition on this final layer. ▶ watch 32:00
  5. Line up stencil one for the sunglasses at the top of the card and apply ink in a coordinating colour, such as pink for the lenses. ▶ watch 32:30
  6. Apply stencil two for the sunglasses, then stencil three, building the glasses design alongside the handbag on the same card. ▶ watch 33:00
  7. Optional: apply the coordinating stamp to outline or add detail to either the handbag or sunglasses. ▶ watch 34:00
  8. Run the card through the 3D embossing folder to add texture and dimension, which will add pin-prick detail such as studs to the handbag. ▶ watch 35:00
