Embossed Pattern Paper Background Card

Run patterned cardstock through a high-definition 3D embossing folder to create a textured, dimensional background. The relief creates beautiful depth and visual interest that elevates a simple card design.

You will need

High Definition 3D Embossing Folder - Frantic Floral - 080822FSEE IT

Step by step

1. Cut a piece of patterned paper from the Sunshine in My Pocket collection to size. ▶ watch 14:30
2. Run the paper through a high-definition 3D embossing folder, ensuring it's centred for even embossing. ▶ watch 14:45
3. Remove the embossed paper and examine the raised texture and detail created by the folder. ▶ watch 15:00
4. Use the embossed paper as your card background or layer it onto a card base. ▶ watch 15:15

Tips from the show

• The embossing folders create incredible relief and definition that shows beautifully even on patterned paper.
• You can highlight the raised areas with gilding waxes or metallic finishes for extra dimension.
