Cut out the topper to match this paper, from the Summer Sanctuary pack. Ink around the edges of both with your Midnight ink pad. You will also need another sheet of the SAME paper design, so pop that to one side. |
Mat the paper onto kraft card trimmed to 5 1/4 x 7 1/4" and then adhere onto your white card blank, keeping it slightly to the left, as shown here. Pop to one side. |
From kraft, white cardstock and/or decorative papers, die cut a hanging basket, pot, foliage and flowers as required. I used watercolour paints to colour mine in but you could also use coloured pencils, pens, alcohol pens..whatever medium you prefer. Assemble all your elements to create your hanging basket. |
Adhere the cut-out topper with foam pads, to the top right of your card, hook the hanging basket over the top of the topper and secure in place with foam pads. |
From the second decorative sheet, with the same design, cut out various elements (cushions, basket etc) and adhere them in place, with foam pads |
Using the dies as a guide, cut ONE drop from the Sepia washi roll. Lift up the backing sheet along one end of the tape and adhere across the top of an A4 sheet of white card. Slowly peel away the backing, as you use your hand to smooth the washi tape down on to the card. Once the backing has been fully removed, you can burnish the washi to ensure there are no air bubbles or creases. |
Line up the second die, secure in place and run through your machine. |
Once all elements are die cut, pop out the sentiments, pick out the one you are using for this project and keep the rest in a tub for future projects. |
To complete your card, adhere your chosen sentiment tab in place, across the top of the basket. |
