How To Guide - Step 1

Using the nesting dies, cut a mat from black card, slightly smaller than your 5 x 7" card blank. Cut a mat using the next die down, from white cardstock.

How To Guide - Step 2

Ink up the solid wave stamp with Tiffany and Surfboard and lightly spritz with water. Stamp just off the left edge of the white die-cut card, leaving a gap underneath for more "waves". Re-ink, spritz and stamp to the right of the first "wave", going off the right side of the card.

How To Guide - Step 3

Stamp the detailed "wave" in Midnight, over the first wave. Re-ink and stamp over the second.

How To Guide - Step 4

Repeat the previous step, stamping more waves underneath.

How To Guide - Step 5

Secure your circle mask where you want your Sun to be, then blend the Surboard above the waves and in between the waves, to take the harshness of the white card away. Splatter with water, mopping up the excess with a paper towel.

Once you're happy with the "sky", remove the circle mask, lightly blend with the ink to take the harsh "white" of the card away, then drag ink across the Sun, depicting wispy clouds floating past!

How To Guide - Step 6

Use the Confetti White Lace to paint in/highlight the foam, on the crest of the waves.

How To Guide - Step 7

Stamp your sentiment in Midnight and the flock of birds in Smokey Grey Versafine.

How To Guide - Step 8

Assemble your card, matting your artwork onto the black die-cut panel and then onto your card blank.
