Choose a 12x12 decorative paper and following the instructions on the Envelope tool, create an envelope (the largest size available using the 12 x 12 paper). NB: If you click on the Envelope Tool on the HTCN website, there are several videos of Toni showing you exactly how to make the envelopes. |
I then lined the inside of my envelope with coordinating papers and inked around the edges with Frayed Burlap. Pop the envelope to one side. |
Choose a coordinating paper and cut to 5 3/4 x 7 3/4". Tear a panel of paper and adhere down left side, as seen here. |
Fussy cut one of the "presents" from the papers. Die cut a selection of foliage using the dies and papers in the collection. |
Use wet glue and foam pads to adhere to the bottom of your torn paper, creating your own 3D focal display. |
Adhere to the front of your cream card blank. |
Using the dies as a guide, cut ONE drop from the Sepia washi roll. Lift up the backing sheet along one end of the tape and adhere across the top of an A4 sheet of white card. Slowly peel away the backing, as you use your hand to smooth the washi tape down on to the card. Once the backing has been fully removed, you can burnish the washi to ensure there are no air bubbles or creases. |
Line up the second die, secure in place and run through your machine. |
Once all elements are die cut, pop out the sentiments, pick out the one you are using for this project and keep the rest in a tub for future projects. |
To finish, adhere your chosen sentiment across the 3D present. |
