Multicoloured Pebble Dash Embossed Card

A playful, colourful card using the Pebble Dash embossing folder with multiple ink colours applied to both sides of the folder before embossing. The result is a vibrant, textured background that looks like bubbles, pebbles or sweets depending on your colour choices.

Step by step

1. Ink both sides of the Pebble Dash embossing folder with different coloured ink pads in random spots ▶ watch 39:00
2. Apply yellow ink to various areas of the folder ▶ watch 39:30
3. Add orange ink to different sections of the folder ▶ watch 40:00
4. Spray the inked folder lightly with water for a blended, distressed effect ▶ watch 40:30
5. Place cardstock into the inked folder ▶ watch 41:00
6. Run the cardstock through your embossing machine to transfer the colour and create the embossed texture ▶ watch 41:15
7. Remove the card and layer it onto a card base if desired ▶ watch 41:45

Tips from the show

• You can ink both sides of the folder to get different colour effects on the embossed and debossed sides
• Spraying with water before embossing creates a softer, more blended look
• The same design can represent different things depending on your colour choices—pebbles, bubbles, sweets or a wall
