  1. Cut a piece of white cardstock to A6 size and prepare your work surface. ▶ watch 28:30
  2. Apply sticky embossing ink pad to the poppy stamp, pressing firmly to ensure good coverage. ▶ watch 29:00
  3. Stamp the poppy design onto your white cardstock using the sticky ink pad. ▶ watch 29:15
  4. Place an anti-static bag under the stamped image to prevent powder sticking to unwanted areas. ▶ watch 29:30
  5. Sprinkle gold embossing powder over the wet sticky ink, covering the entire stamped design. ▶ watch 29:45
  6. Tap away excess powder back into the pot and heat set with an embossing gun until the powder melts and becomes shiny. ▶ watch 30:00
  7. Die cut the poppy design using the coordinating die, securing the cardstock with tape in your die-cutting machine. ▶ watch 30:30
  8. Activate the watercolour brush pens by removing the green activation ring and twisting to puncture the barrel. ▶ watch 36:45
  9. Drop orange colour onto the cardstock in random places around the gold embossed poppy. ▶ watch 37:00
  10. Spray the cardstock with water to allow the watercolour to bleed and blend organically. ▶ watch 41:00
  11. Add red colour in additional areas, allowing it to blend with the orange where colours meet. ▶ watch 41:30
  12. Add green colour to the upper and lower sections, leaving white space to encourage natural colour mixing. ▶ watch 42:00
  13. Spray again with water if the colour appears too linear, allowing it to blend more naturally. ▶ watch 42:45
  14. Use a tissue to push back excess colour if it becomes too dark or intense, controlling the pigment density. ▶ watch 43:30
  15. Heat set the watercolour with an embossing gun to set the colours and achieve vibrant intensity. ▶ watch 44:30
  16. Mount the coloured poppy circle onto a craft-coloured card base with gold cardstock as a backing layer. ▶ watch 48:00
