Everyday Collection Gift Wrap Card with Dragonfly

Create an adorable gift wrap card using the everyday collection dies and papers. This card features a hinged wrap element that folds closed, with a beautiful layered dragonfly embellishment on top, perfect for holding a small gift, chocolate bar, or gift card inside.

Step by step

1. Die cut the hinge element from your patterned paper, using the pre-cut wrap die from the collection. ▶ watch 12:30
2. Score along the inbuilt score line on the hinge by pinching gently to create the fold. ▶ watch 12:45
3. Layer the dragonfly pieces by stacking different coloured papers (such as teal, white, pink, and patterned) to create dimension. ▶ watch 13:00
4. Adhere the layered dragonfly to the front of your wrap card using glue or tape. ▶ watch 13:15
5. Fold the wrap element closed and secure with the brooch clasp to hold it shut. ▶ watch 13:30
6. Insert your gift, chocolate bar, or gift card inside the folded wrap before sealing. ▶ watch 13:45

Tips from the show

• If you want the card to remain reusable, seal the brooch clasp on only one side of the wing so the contents can still move in and out freely.
• You can create a drop shadow effect by die cutting two elements and slightly offsetting them for added depth.
