A 5-minute clean and simple card using water-reactive inks and splatter techniques. This minimalist design features soft colour blending and creates an elegant, understated aesthetic.

Step by step

1. Select a clean white card base as your foundation. ▶ watch 22:15
2. Apply water-reactive ink to your card using a brush or applicator. ▶ watch 22:30
3. Spray water onto the inked areas to activate the colour and create blending effects. ▶ watch 23:00
4. Add splatter details using water-reactive ink for texture and visual interest. ▶ watch 23:45
5. Allow the card to dry completely before handling. ▶ watch 24:30
6. Hold the card at an angle to showcase the watercolour effects. ▶ watch 25:00

Tips from the show

• Ensure you use water-reactive inks for this technique, as standard inks will not blend with water.
• Clean and simple designs work best when you resist over-embellishing.
