A project from our live show CREATE AND CRAFT TV - Join Toni for her brand new SBM launch - broadcast 11th March 2024 · 03/11/2024 · watch it from 49:00

A stunning card featuring a hot-foiled magnolia design from the Botanicals book, painted with watercolour pen markers and surrounded by a soft gradient wash background. The foiling acts as a resist, creating an elegant, professional-looking card with atmospheric colour effects.

Tips from the show

• Watercolour card stock allows you to work wet for longer, giving you more time to blend and move the colour around.
• The gold foil acts as a resist, so colour will not adhere to it, creating a natural boundary for your design.
• Leave the design to dry naturally rather than rushing; water will do its own thing, so avoid trying to control it too much.
