Four-Square Window Card with Layered Florals

Create a sophisticated card with a four-square window design that showcases different patterned papers. Layer fussy-cut flowers and leaves within each section for a garden-inspired look.

Step by step

1. Cut a card base and divide it into four equal sections using light pencil marks. ▶ watch 29:00
2. Select four different patterned papers from your pad and cut them to fit each section. ▶ watch 30:00
3. Adhere each patterned paper piece into its corresponding section on your card base. ▶ watch 31:00
4. Fussy cut a selection of flowers and leaves from your paper pad using small scissors. ▶ watch 33:00
5. Layer your fussy-cut flowers and leaves across the four sections using foam pads for dimension. ▶ watch 40:00
6. Add a black card stock square in the centre to frame and separate your floral elements. ▶ watch 42:00
7. Stamp or add a sentiment to the centre square to complete your design. ▶ watch 44:00

Tips from the show

• Create balance in your floral arrangement by distributing elements evenly across all four sections.
• If your flowers blend into the background, add a contrasting card stock layer underneath to make them pop.
