A project from our live show MY PODCAST - Catch my latest updates broadcast 25th March 2024 · 03/25/2024 · watch it from 31:00

Create a beautiful watercolour-effect card featuring a boat silhouette using the lamination two-part stamp system. The technique produces a painted, artistic look with blended colours and detailed line work without needing painting skills.

Step by step

  1. Spot pink and orange ink onto the colour stamp (the splotch part) in random places using the corners of your ink pads. ▶ watch 33:30
  2. Spray the inked stamp with water several times to activate the colours. ▶ watch 34:45
  3. Press the wet stamp firmly onto white card stock and hold it in place to allow the colours to blend and bleed together. ▶ watch 35:00
  4. Lift the stamp away and let the card stock absorb the ink naturally, or dry it with a heat gun if preferred. ▶ watch 35:30
  5. Clean the stamp using your damp microfibre cloth, ensuring all ink is removed from the crevices. ▶ watch 36:30
