7. Cut a clear plastic bag (from the kit packaging) to size and trim away the top and bottom flaps to create a shaker window. ▶ watch 34:30
8. Apply double-sided tape or foam pads all the way around the back of your card window, ensuring no gaps remain. ▶ watch 37:00
9. Adhere the plastic bag window to the taped foam pads, smoothing it down carefully to avoid lumps and bubbles. ▶ watch 39:30

11. Apply foam pads to the back of the fussy-cut characters and adhere them inside the window, positioning them at different heights. ▶ watch 45:30
12. Scatter sequins around the inside of the window—use a moderate amount so the card shakes freely without being too sparse. ▶ watch 47:00
13. Remove the backing from all foam pads and press the window assembly firmly onto the front card, massaging it into place. ▶ watch 49:30
14. Adhere a sentiment topper with foam pads to raise it above the card surface for added dimension. ▶ watch 51:00

Tips from the show

• If you don't have a commercial shaker window, repurpose a clear plastic bag from your kit packaging as an alternative.
• When applying foam pads around the window, ensure they go side to side and bottom to bottom with no gaps, or your sequins will escape.
• Don't overfill your shaker with sequins—use just enough so the card shakes freely when moved.
