Create a striking greetings card featuring a beautiful embossed background with a vintage garden scene. Using the Grunge Splash embossing folder on decorative paper, you'll achieve stunning texture and dimension that brings depth to the floral imagery in soft yellows, greens and greys. This technique works wonderfully to add an artistic, distressed finish to patterned backgrounds.
Select a piece of patterned paper from your Timeless paper pad. The paper shown features an abstract landscape design with grey, green and yellow tones.

Trim the embossed paper to a suitable size for your card base using a trimmer or scissors.

Place the paper into the Grunge Splash embossing folder, ensuring it is positioned correctly within the folder.

Place your paper inside the Grunge Splash embossing folder. Run the folder through your die-cutting and embossing machine to create the embossed texture on the paper.

Carefully remove the paper from the embossing folder to reveal the embossed Grunge Splash design on your card.

Apply white ink pad over the embossed surface, dabbing gently to highlight the raised texture and create contrast against the background.

Mount the embossed pink paper panel onto your pink card base to complete your grunge splash embossed background card.
