Embossed Sunflower Background Card

Use the Sunshine embossing folder to create a textured background with beautiful half-crest sunflower detail. This quick technique adds dimension and visual interest with minimal effort, perfect for creating elegant cards.

You will need

Step by step

1. Place your card stock into the embossing folder, ensuring it is positioned correctly. ▶ watch 18:15
2. Run the card stock through your die-cutting machine to emboss the design. ▶ watch 1:04:45
3. Observe the embossed half-crest sunflower design on the card. ▶ watch 1:05:30
4. Optional: ink the embossed design with black or white ink to enhance the detail, or leave plain for a subtle parchment effect. ▶ watch 1:05:45

Tips from the show

• The embossed design looks particularly striking when done on black card stock and highlighted with white ink pad.
