A project from our live show CATCH UP on Fridays Product Launch LETS CRAFT collection 1st Oct 21 · 10/01/2021
A striking 3D snowflake embellishment created by folding and layering multiple die-cut snowflakes. This technique creates a dimensional, geometric snowflake that can be used as a card embellishment or tree decoration.
Cut the snowflake die from cardstock three or more times.
Fold each snowflake die-cut in half along the symmetrical line.
Score the fold with a bone folder or your hand to create a crisp crease.
Apply glue to one side of the first folded snowflake.
Attach the second folded snowflake to the glued side of the first.
Apply glue to the other side and attach the third folded snowflake.
Press all pieces together firmly to ensure they adhere properly.
Take the matten layer piece from the die set and glue it to the back of the 3D snowflake.
Adhere the completed 3D snowflake embellishment onto your card base.
Alternatively, create multiple 3D snowflakes and layer them for extra dimension, or add string to use as a tree ornament.
