Create a stunning watercolour-effect card featuring a woman's face adorned with beautifully blended flowers in soft, artistic tones. Using the Light Up the Room lamination stamp set, you'll master the technique of inking different coloured sections, spraying with water, and stamping to achieve a delicate watercolour finish. This elegant design combines modern stamping with traditional watercolour aesthetics for a truly unique greeting card.
Cut white cardstock to size and position the stamp where you want the image to appear on your card.
Using the corner of an orange ink pad, spot colour around the flower area of the stamp.
Using the corner of a purple ink pad, add colour to the lips section of the stamp.
Spray the inked stamp with water from a spray bottle to activate the colours.
Press the stamp firmly onto the cardstock, pushing down to blend the colours together.
Lift the stamp carefully and straight up to reveal the blended watercolour effect on your card.
Clean the stamp thoroughly to remove any ink residue. Use a heat gun to dry the watercoloured card completely before proceeding to the next step.
Position the second detail stamp part and ink it with yellow ink on one section and blue ink on the appropriate section.
Spray the stamp section with water and press it onto the card to add the eye and additional flower details.
Heat dry the card thoroughly using a heat tool before applying the final black detail stamp to ensure the ink is completely set.
Ink the black detail stamp with black ink pad and stamp over the previous watercolour layers to add definition and outlines to your flower design.
Stamp the image a second time using black ink to ensure all details are dark and clearly visible on your card.
