A project from our live show CATCH UP with Toni for a THURSDAY LAUNCH in the HTCN studio broadcast 18th Nov 21 Show Two · 11/18/2021
Create a vibrant, sketchy-style card featuring tulips in bold colours. The two-part stamp creates an ombré effect with the solid colour layer, then the outline adds a hand-drawn, pencil-sketch appearance.
Cut cardstock to a suitable size for your card base.
Apply purple and blue ink to your ink pads.
Stamp the solid portion of the tulip design onto cardstock, positioning it where you want the flowers.
Apply green ink to the base area where the leaves will be.
Spray the inked areas lightly with water.
Stamp the solid portion again, allowing the colours to blend and create an ombré effect.
Allow the card to dry completely.
Stamp the outline portion in black ink to add definition and the sketchy, hand-drawn appearance.
Add splats of blue and other colours around the design for extra visual interest.
Mount the finished piece onto a card base and add any additional embellishments.
Share your make with the Stamps By Me community - and keep this guide for next time.
