A project from our live show Join Toni for her Q and A update and a fantastic show offer broadcast 7th Feb 22 · 02/07/2022
Make an elegant A5 card featuring a dragonfly with intricate lattice detailing. The design can be used as a simple embellishment or cut away and layered to create beautiful 3D wings that float above the card.
Run the dragonfly lattice die through your cutting machine with cardstock to cut out the complete design.
Pop out the dragonfly pieces carefully from the die-cut cardstock.
Run the same die through again with a second piece of cardstock to create a duplicate dragonfly.
Carefully cut away the wings from one of the dragonfly pieces using scissors, leaving the body intact.
Glue the body of the first dragonfly flat onto your card base.
Layer the wings from the second dragonfly on top of the body using foam pads or 3D adhesive dots to create dimension.
Optional: add vellum or acetate behind the wings and embellish with sparkle for an ethereal effect.
Share your make with the Stamps By Me community - and keep this guide for next time.
