Create a stunning A5 card featuring a peacock design with cascading layered feathers. The peacock is cut from cardstock and can be used as a stencil or built up with multiple layers to create a beautiful, dimensional focal point.
Run the peacock die through your cutting machine with cardstock to cut out the main peacock shape.
Pop out all the pieces from the die-cut peacock, including the body and tail sections.
Score the fold line on the peacock body using a scoring tool to create a hinge effect.
Use the peacock die as a stencil by placing it over cardstock and blending ink through it with a blending brush.
Blend teal ink into the centre of the tail area, then add purple ink to create a gradient effect.
Cut the feather elements from the die multiple times on different cardstock colours or add sparkle and glitter to them.
Layer the feather pieces on top of each other using small dots of glue to create a cascading, dimensional effect.
Attach the layered feathers to the peacock body, positioning them to fan out from the tail area.
Attach the completed peacock to the front of your card using glue, positioning it so the feathers cascade off the edge for added dimension.
