Step by step

  1. Layer watercolour card stock onto die-cutting plates, ensuring no dies overlap to avoid damaging the cutting tools. ▶ watch 13:15
  2. Spritz the cut card stock pieces with water using a spray bottle, then add ink colours by dabbing rather than spraying to avoid spray marks. ▶ watch 16:30
  3. Add a second ink colour to the wet card stock, allowing the colours to bleed and blend together naturally. ▶ watch 17:15
  4. Stamp a background texture stamp onto watercolour card stock using black ink to create visual interest. ▶ watch 20:30
  5. Glue the spritzed watercolour panel onto a 5x7 card base, securing it with a glue runner or tape runner for stability. ▶ watch 21:00
  6. Stamp a sentiment onto an off-cut of watercolour card stock using black ink. ▶ watch 27:00
  7. Mount the stamped sentiment panel onto foam pads and attach to the card to create dimension. ▶ watch 29:00
  8. Arrange die-cut flower and leaf elements behind the raised sentiment panel, tucking them under to create a layered, dimensional effect. ▶ watch 30:00
  9. Add water droplet embellishments to the focal flowers to complete the design. ▶ watch 30:30
