A project from our live show CREATE TOGETHER CLUB - Show 2 - Join Toni - Broadcast 29th March 22 · 03/29/2022
Create a vibrant, artistic card by applying water-reactive ink directly to white cardstock, then using a water-spritzed stamp to bleach out a lifted floral image. The effect is magical and contemporary, finished with clear sparkle pen accents.
Take a piece of white cardstock and apply water-reactive ink (such as Izing) in random areas using a brush, layering colours like purple and pink.
Allow the inked cardstock to dry slightly.
Lightly spritz your floral stamp with clean water—do not flood it, use light bursts only.
Press the water-spritzed stamp down onto the coloured ink to create a bleached, lifted image.
Lift the stamp and repeat the water-spritz and stamp process 2–3 times to build up the bleached effect.
Use a heat gun to activate and reveal the bleached floral image—the design will appear as a light, lifted area against the coloured background.
Glue the finished piece onto a card base.
Lightly dab clear sparkle pen in random spots across the card, using minimal product for a subtle shimmer effect.
Add a washi tape sentiment strip to complete the card.
