Handmade Card Blank with Scored Fold

A quick demonstration of making a professional card blank from scratch using a paper trimmer with scoring capability. This shows how to create a perfectly scored fold line for a handmade card base.

Step by step

1. Place two pieces of white card stock into the paper trimmer. ▶ watch 37:30
2. Use the scoring blade to create a score line at one inch from the edge. ▶ watch 37:45
3. Apply glue along the scored edge to join the two pieces together. ▶ watch 38:00
4. Use the cutting blade to trim away any excess card to create a neat card blank. ▶ watch 38:15

Tips from the show

• Score lines on the inside of your card blank keep the front looking neat.
• The extending arm on the trimmer helps balance the tool and prevents it from moving on the table.
