Daisy Stencil Card with Mixed Media Layers

Create a delicate daisy card using the Delicate Daisy stencil and die set with just two layers. This design showcases how to build dimension with foam pads and combine stencilling with mixed media techniques for a clean, elegant finish.

Step by step

1. Place the first numbered stencil on cardstock. ▶ watch 27:15
2. Apply ink through the stencil using a sponge dauber or ink pad. ▶ watch 27:30
3. Position the second stencil layer on top and apply a contrasting or complementary colour. ▶ watch 28:00
4. Optionally add foam pads underneath the stencilled design to create dimension. ▶ watch 28:30
5. Add a sentiment in the centre of the flower using one of the new sentiment dies. ▶ watch 29:00
6. Optionally pop the coordinating die around the design to cut it out. ▶ watch 29:30

Tips from the show

• You can use just one or two layers of this stencil set for a simpler, cleaner look.
• Foam pads add lovely dimension when placed under the stencilled layers.
