Step by step

  1. Place your 12x12 sheet of cardstock into the scoreboard flush at the top and score at 3cm, 6cm and 9cm across the width. ▶ watch 15:00
  2. Rotate your paper 90 degrees and score again at 3cm, 6cm and 9cm to create a grid of score lines. ▶ watch 16:00
  3. Cut up to the first score line on the left and right edges, skipping the middle column, creating two vertical cuts. ▶ watch 17:30
  4. Rotate the paper and cut the middle score line up to the first horizontal score line, then cut the left and right columns to create a W-shaped pattern. ▶ watch 19:00
  5. Begin folding by bringing the top flap towards you, then fold the next section back, continuing this accordion fold pattern through all sections. ▶ watch 20:30
  6. Score all fold lines firmly with a bone folder to create crisp, clean creases throughout the album. ▶ watch 21:45
  7. Glue the left and bottom edges of the first interior page to create a top-opening pocket. ▶ watch 23:00
  8. Glue the top and side edges of the second page to create a side-opening pocket, alternating pocket orientations. ▶ watch 24:30
  9. Continue gluing remaining pages, alternating between top and side pocket openings to create variety. ▶ watch 25:30
  10. Cut 6cm by 7cm pieces of cardstock to fit inside each pocket, curving the corners for a finished look. ▶ watch 29:00
