Ink-Blended Stencil Background

Blend ink through a stencil onto cardstock using a glass mat for smooth blending. This technique creates a soft, coloured background perfect for layering with stamped images.

Step by step

1. Place your cardstock on a glass mat to create a smooth blending surface. ▶ watch 49:30
2. Position the stencil on top of the cardstock. ▶ watch 49:45
3. Apply ink to a blending tool and work it through the stencil openings onto the cardstock. ▶ watch 50:00
4. Blend the ink smoothly across the stencilled areas for an even colour application. ▶ watch 50:15
