Stamped Lady with Patterned Gown Card

A sophisticated card featuring a stamped lady figure where the gown is stamped onto patterned paper, cut out, and layered on top for a beautiful dress effect with added dimension.

Step by step

1. Stamp the lady figure in black ink onto white card. ▶ watch 35:30
2. Cut carefully around the stamped lady outline. ▶ watch 35:45
3. Stamp the same lady figure onto patterned paper from the pad. ▶ watch 36:00
4. Cut away only the dress section from the patterned paper stamped image. ▶ watch 36:15
5. Glue the patterned dress piece on top of the white lady's dress area. ▶ watch 36:30
6. Adhere the complete lady figure to a layered card base with black and white panels. ▶ watch 36:45
7. Add patterned paper panels to the card background. ▶ watch 37:00
8. Apply foam pads behind the lady for dimension. ▶ watch 37:30
9. Add sparkle or embellishments to complete the card. ▶ watch 38:00

Tips from the show

• Use offcuts from your paper pad to create additional design elements.
• You can watercolour the skin tone if desired, or leave it as is.
