Boho Flight Owl and Butterfly Card

Create a striking card featuring a beautifully detailed owl as the centrepiece, with delicate butterflies and flowers stamped down the side. This elegant design uses heat embossing techniques to create a dramatic white-on-black owl with pink accents on the butterflies and florals. The finished card combines intricate stamping with a bold colour palette for a truly eye-catching result.

Step by step

1. 

   Stamp the butterfly chain design down the right side of your white card panel, creating a vertical border. Add pink flowers between the butterflies and embellish with small gems.

   Stamp the largest ornate owl design from the Stamps By Me set onto the front of your card using black ink.

3. 

   Heat emboss a second owl stamp in white embossing powder onto black cardstock to create contrast. This will give you one owl in white on black and one in black on white for added dimension.

4. 

   Adhere the heat embossed white owl onto the front of your card using foam pads, positioning it over the first stamped owl image to create dimension.

5. 

   Add the sentiment 'Freedom is being you without anyone's permission' to the centre of the card using foam pads for dimension. This completes your boho owl and butterfly card.

Tips from the show

• The stamps are impactful enough that you only need to add detail or colour to the background to complete the design.
