Step by step

  1. Gather three ink pads in coordinating colours (Tiffany, Fandango, and Ocean were used in the demo). ▶ watch 13:30
  2. Apply the first ink colour (Ocean) to your card base using a water brush, creating a soft watercolour wash across the surface. ▶ watch 14:00
  3. Add the second ink colour (Tiffany) to the wet background, allowing the colours to blend naturally. ▶ watch 14:15
  4. Introduce the third ink colour (Fandango) to complete your multi-coloured background, leaving some white space showing through. ▶ watch 14:45
  5. Use a circular punch to create multiple circles from white cardstock, punching enough to create a border pattern around your card. ▶ watch 15:30
  6. Arrange the punched circles around the edges of your card, leaving some extending off the page and maintaining white space in the centre. ▶ watch 18:00
  7. Stamp the large bunny family stamp in black ink onto white cardstock. ▶ watch 22:45
  8. Carefully fussy-cut around the bunnies, separating them so you can position them individually on your card. ▶ watch 29:15
  9. Swipe a white ink pad across portions of your background to soften the darker areas and create bokeh-style circles using the punched template as a stencil. ▶ watch 37:45
  10. Edge the background piece with black ink around all sides to create definition. ▶ watch 40:00
  11. Adhere the background piece to a gold cardstock base layer, positioning it to show the gold as a border. ▶ watch 41:30
  12. Arrange and glue the fussy-cut bunnies onto the card as if they are cuddling together, with the largest bunny at the base. ▶ watch 44:15
  13. Stamp a 'Thanks' sentiment onto the gold layer beneath the bunnies. ▶ watch 47:30
  14. Add a fine-line pen frame around the card edge to enhance the dimensional effect. ▶ watch 50:00
