Shaped Card with Timeless Stitch Die and Offset Aperture

Use the Timeless Stitch die's exterior outline to create a shaped card that stands proud on a desk. Offset the interior aperture for variety and add gems or embellishments to the decorative stitch detail.

Step by step

1. Die-cut the Timeless Stitch die on white cardstock using both the interior aperture and exterior outline dies. ▶ watch 28:00
2. Offset the interior aperture slightly off-centre rather than keeping it symmetrical for visual interest. ▶ watch 28:15
3. Glue the shaped die-cut onto a coloured card base, such as pink or another coordinating shade. ▶ watch 28:45
4. Stamp a cute animal or sentiment into the offset aperture using an A6 stamp set. ▶ watch 29:15
5. Add gems or pearls along the stitch detail line to enhance the embellishment. ▶ watch 29:45
6. Ensure the shaped card stands proud and displays well when placed on a desk or shelf. ▶ watch 30:30

Tips from the show

• The exterior die creates a lovely shaped card that stands up proud on a desk.
• You can place gems all the way along the stitch detail for added sparkle and dimension.
• Offsetting the design creates variety compared to keeping everything symmetrical.
