Love Hearts Embossed Card with Glitter and Sentiment

A striking card using an embossed love hearts background in red card, topped with white embossing powder for detail, mounted on black and glitter card. The layered design creates depth and visual impact with a simple sentiment finish.

Step by step

1. Cut a piece of red card to size and run it through the love hearts embossing folder to create the embossed pattern. ▶ watch 20:30
2. Brush white ink pad over the raised embossed areas to pick up the detail and create contrast. ▶ watch 21:15
3. Sprinkle embossing powder over the white inked areas and heat with a heat gun to set it, creating a shiny silver finish. ▶ watch 22:15
4. Mount the embossed red panel onto a piece of black card using double-sided tape and glue. ▶ watch 24:00
5. Attach the black-mounted panel to a glitter card base using both tape runner and glue for security. ▶ watch 24:15
6. Add a sentiment stamp to the centre of the card to complete the design. ▶ watch 24:30

Tips from the show

• Use both glue and tape on glitter card to ensure the panel stays secure throughout the show.
• Brush white ink gently over the raised embossed areas without too much pressure to avoid damaging the detail.
