Stamped Card with Dry Brush Parchment Technique

A stamping project using the Funky Fossil stamp sets to create a card with a parchment-style effect. The design features stamped imagery with a dry brush technique to give it an aged, textured appearance.

Step by step

1. Select your stamp and ink pad colour. ▶ watch 23:00
2. Stamp your chosen image onto card stock. ▶ watch 23:30
3. Use a dry brush technique by applying ink with minimal water to create a parchment-like texture around the stamped image. ▶ watch 26:45
4. Layer your stamped panel onto contrasting card stock. ▶ watch 27:00
5. Adhere the layered panel to your card base using strong glue. ▶ watch 28:00
6. Add any additional embellishments or details as desired. ▶ watch 29:00

Tips from the show

• Make sure your artwork is completely dry before cutting it with a guillotine to avoid smudging.
• Use a dry brush technique sparingly to create subtle texture without overwhelming the design.
